Overload Poetry Festival
Overload Poetry Inc. was formed in 2002 by Steven Smart and Sandon McLeod (1954-2004). Their mission was to bring Melbourne's vibrant poetry scene into public view through an annual festival based around the regular readings. Incredibly Victoria did not have, at the time, a major annual poetry festival. |

Byron Bay Writers Festival
workshops commencing on 2 August.The focus of the program is firmly on Australian writing, with recognition of our physical place in the world through the inclusion of Indonesian and Asian authors. The Byron Bay Writers Festival enjoys a close relationship with the Ubud Writers and Readers Festival and believes that through words and ideas, bridges are formed that cross cultures and schisms. |
