100 Words or Fewer Writing Contest
Entry fee: $15; plus checkmark evaluation: $18; plus critique: $31.
Each entry must be fiction in 100 words or less.

Contest 1: Any subject, any style (not poetry or anecdotes).
Contest 2: “The Walk.” The story takes place on a walk.
Contest 3: Use non-gendered pronouns only—I, me, you, ours, them, yours, their, theirs. Any subject. 

PRIZES: Contest 1: $300, $50, $50.

Limnisa Short Story Competition 2010.
Win a Holiday in Greece with your Short Story. This contest, open worldwide, is for stories of up to 3,000 words on any subject. Closing date is: March 1st, 2010. First and Second Prize: A choice between a free place at a two-week creative writing seminar by the sea in Greece, or a one-week stay in a holiday apartment with sea views, on the Methana Peninsular in Greece.  Runners-up (8) - a 50% discount on a creative writing holiday by the sea in Greece. The Playwrights’ Co-operative/New Theatre Publications One Act Play Competition

First prize will be £100 and there are other prizes. The winning entry or entries will be offered a publishing contract.

No entry fee.

Entries must be by email attachment or disk. With an eye of the environment, no paper copies will be accepted.
