OPEN CALL 2010 for artists in residency
Where: Chianti, Tuscany  Italy

Applications are now being accepted for the 2010 at La Macina di San Cresci.

We are located above Greve in Chianti in the heart of Tuscany, between two great cities of the Renaissance: Florence & Siena.

The artist residency program provides the ideal combination of living and working in a setting of truly inspirational beauty.

Artist residency consist of sojourning from 7 to 90 days, with a possible time extension subject to availability.
This period covers a program based on the personal project proposal presented.

As an archive of activities is scheduled to publish a yearbook representative of the various experiences hosted and produced using photos and texts of artists and events.

The artists with a special interesting project have a public event that offer a venue to test their ideas in a dialog with other artists, and the general public.
Help will be given from La Macina di San Cresci staff to organize a local exhibition on a theme related to their Residency project.

Prospect Artist in Residence Program
Applications are invited for Prospect Gallery and Studio's Artist in Residence Program 2009-2010. Open to artists from practising in a range of media, the program provides 24 hour studio access and culminates in a fully supported solo exhibition in the Prospect Gallery during the South Australian Living Artists Festival in August 2010. The Box Hill Community Art Centre is calling for submissions for an Artist In Residence in 2009
 
Megalo Printmaker in Residence Program
The Megalo Printmaker In Residence Program provides participating artists with a stipend and six weeks access to the Megalo Print Studios in Canberra. The choice of printmaking equipment and facilities includes Screen Printing on fabric or paper, Digital Technology, Etching, Lithography and Releif Printing. The purpose of the residencies is to support the making of the new work that meets the program objectives of excellence and innovation.
 

La Macina di San Cresci – Tuscany Italy  Artist-in-residence ( partial funding)

Where: Greve in Chianti , Florence
When: October 1, 2009 – March 31, 2010
Deadline: until filled

La Macina di San Cresci offers 10 partial funding in grant based on a combination of merit and need.
This assistance reduces Residency fees and may cover up to half the full cost of a minimum three-week residency.
This grant assistance is available from October 1 , 2009 to March 31 , 2010 residencies .

Agnes Goodsir Scholarship
The Gallery recently announced that it will be presenting a scholarship for artists to undertake a residency in Paris. Details of this scholarship are currently being finalised and further information with be available in the next few months.

Bundanon's Artist in Residence Program (NSW)
Under its Artist in Residence program Bundanon Trust makes living and work space available to individual creative artists or small groups in all art forms in the purpose built Bundanon Artists Centre.

Laughing Waters Artist in Residence Program
Each year Council, together with Parks Victoria, invites contemporary artists to apply to the Laughing Waters Artist in Residence Program.
The Program offers artists the opportunity to live and work in the heritage mudbrick dwelling Birrarung for up to three months.
