Two NSW-based Indigenous artists will be selected from this open call to lead a team through a three-week interdisciplinary arts residency at Carriageworks. There are two residency slots available—one beginning in late May and the other in early September.
IndigeSpace is underpinned by four principles: a focus on mid-career artists; collaboration; encouraging cross artform working; and a commitment to pay artists’ fees. The residencies will also have the support of Emerging Indigenous Producer, Alison Murphy-Oates. IndigeSpace is part of a strategy to create stronger, sustainable connections between Indigenous artists and Performance Space's presentation program.
